About the Author, Dr. T. Elaine Gagné

Elaine Gagné is an award-winning organizational-effectiveness consultant with more than 20 years’ experience in a wide range of organizational contexts. In 2003, she received the International Organization Development Institute’s highest award for her outstanding organizational development process: The Farnam Companies’ compass project.

ENGAGE! Roadmap for Workforce-Driven Change in a Warp-Speed World was written to document that process and to share a wealth of right-now ideas for increasing performance, results, and job satisfaction in today’s complex workplaces.

She is the coauthor of Designing Effective Organizations: Traditional and Transformational Views and is a contributing author for Rediscovering the Soul in Business: A Renaissance of Values.

Elaine is a Master Certified Coach—the highest professional standard awarded by the International Coach Federation, and is an executive coach for the Center for Creative Leadership. She is certified both by Success Unlimited Network™ (SUN) and Coach Training Institute (CTI). A cocreator of FranklinCovey’s Organization Change Practice, Elaine brings to her work a refreshing mix of imagination, intuition, and insight blended with original ideas to help groups and teams operate at their peak.

Throughout her career, Elaine has helped teams in government, education, and the corporate sector drive performance in their daily operations. The CEO of Insight Systems Consulting, she blends art and science to express creativity, adaptability, and flow in the work she does each day.

Elaine and her husband, Don, designed and built their environmentally-friendly home in Colorado Springs, CO., based on principles of sustainability. They have four sons, three daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, two cats, one dog, and an outdoor pond with eleven fish (after the heron’s last visit).
